Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 1, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how PocketFetch (“PocketFetch,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and discloses information about you when you visit this website (the “Site”). It also describes the privacy rights available to California residents and how to exercise them.

This policy applies to the Site only. Our mobile applications are distributed through third-party app stores and may be covered by separate privacy policies presented with those apps.

1. Information we collect

Information you provide to us

When you contact us through the Site’s contact form, we collect the information you submit: your name, email address, an optional subject, and the contents of your message. We use this information solely to respond to and manage your inquiry.

Information collected automatically

When you visit the Site, our servers and hosting provider automatically log certain technical information, such as your IP address, browser type and settings, device information, the pages you view, and the date and time of your visit. This information helps us operate, secure, and improve the Site.

Cookies

We use a small number of strictly necessary cookies to operate the Site and to remember your cookie preferences. We do not currently use analytics, advertising, or other non-essential cookies. If that changes, we will update this policy and request your consent where required. For details, see our Cookie Policy.

2. How we use your information

  • To respond to your inquiries and provide support;
  • To operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site;
  • To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, security incidents, and technical issues;
  • To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Use.

We do not use your personal information for targeted advertising, and we do not engage in automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects about you.

3. Categories of personal information

For purposes of the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (together, the “CCPA”), in the preceding 12 months we may have collected the following categories of personal information:

  • Identifiers — such as your name, email address, and IP address;
  • Internet or other electronic network activity — such as server log data about your interaction with the Site.

We collect this information directly from you and automatically from your device, and we use it for the business purposes described in this policy. We do not collect Social Security numbers, financial account information, precise geolocation, biometric information, or other “sensitive personal information” through the Site.

4. How we disclose information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined under the CCPA. We have not sold or shared personal information in the preceding 12 months.

We may disclose information to:

  • Service providers that process information on our behalf under contract, such as our web hosting and email delivery providers;
  • Legal and safety recipients, when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to comply with the law, respond to legal process, or protect the rights, property, or safety of PocketFetch, our users, or others;
  • Successors, in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.

5. “Do Not Track” and Global Privacy Control

Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” (DNT) setting. Because there is no common industry standard for interpreting DNT signals, we do not respond to them. However, we honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal as a valid request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. Because we do not sell or share personal information, a GPC signal results in only strictly necessary cookies being used during your visit.

6. Your California privacy rights

If you are a California resident, you have the following rights under the CCPA:

  • Right to know / access the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the sources, the purposes, and the categories of recipients;
  • Right to delete personal information we collected from you, subject to certain exceptions;
  • Right to correct inaccurate personal information;
  • Right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (note: we do not sell or share);
  • Right to limit the use of sensitive personal information (note: we do not collect sensitive personal information);
  • Right to non-discrimination for exercising your privacy rights.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at info@pocketfetch.com. We will take reasonable steps to verify your identity before responding, and we will respond within the time required by law (generally 45 days, with the possibility of an extension). You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf; we may require the agent to demonstrate authority to act for you.

7. Children’s privacy

The Site is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. Consistent with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

8. Data retention

We retain contact-form submissions for as long as necessary to respond to your inquiry and to maintain reasonable business records, after which we delete or de-identify them. Server log data is retained for a limited period for security and operational purposes.

9. Data security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures designed to protect the information we hold. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Third-party links

The Site may link to third-party websites and services, such as app stores and social media platforms, that we do not control. This policy does not apply to those services, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies.

11. Residents of other U.S. states

Residents of certain other U.S. states may have similar rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of their personal information. To make such a request, contact us using the details below and we will honor the rights that apply to you under applicable law.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Site after an update becomes effective constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

13. Contact us
