About Sideline Manager
Sideline does the two jobs a youth soccer coach does every week: building a lineup that is fair to every player, and remembering what happened last game.
It is built for game day — two taps from who is coming to a finished plan, and everything works with no signal at all.
Fair lineups in a tap
- Mark who is available, tap once, and every position for every period comes back filled
- Playing time is settled before positions, so a preference never costs a child minutes
- The goalkeeper rotates, the starts are spread, and nobody sits twice in a row
- Last week’s short straw is carried forward, so whoever sat more plays more this week
- Tap any position to change it by hand — your edits stay put
An answer to “how much did my kid play?”
- Share of play for every player, period by period, across the whole season
- The reasoning behind a plan, in plain words, player by player
- Time counted only against the games a player was available for, so missing a week never counts against them
- Warnings when the squad is too big to give everyone their minimum, and what the app did instead
Rules that match your Region
- Set the minimum each player gets — half the match, three quarters, whatever your Region enforces
- Goalkeeper limits, position variety and period length by division, from 6U to 19U
- National defaults are loaded and labelled as defaults; every one of them is editable
Practice you can run from your phone
- Ready-made session plans for your age group, or build one drill at a time
- A drill library with the set-up, how it runs, what to say and how to make it harder
- Formations drawn on a pitch, from 3v3 to 11v11
- Share a practice plan or a lineup card with an assistant or a parent
Yours, and private
- No account, no sign-up, no ads, no analytics, no tracking
- Everything lives on your device, with optional iCloud sync between iPhone and iPad
- A Face ID lock, because the roster holds children’s names and their parents’ phone numbers
