This Cookie Policy explains how PocketFetch (“we,” “us,” or “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on this website (the “Site”), and the choices available to you. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device to make the site work, keep it secure, and remember your preferences. Similar technologies, such as pixels, tags, and your browser’s local storage, can serve comparable purposes. Cookies set by the site you are visiting are called “first-party” cookies; those set by another domain are “third-party” cookies.
2. How we use cookies
We use cookies only where necessary to operate the Site and to remember your cookie choice. We group cookies into the following categories:
- Strictly necessary — required for the Site to function and to keep it secure, for example by maintaining your session and protecting forms against cross-site request forgery. These are always active and do not require your consent.
- Functional, analytics, and advertising — we do not currently use these. We also do not currently use third-party cookies, advertising pixels, or local storage for tracking. If we introduce non-essential cookies in the future, they will load only after you opt in through our cookie banner (or will stay off if you have rejected them or sent a Global Privacy Control signal).

Cookie names that include an asterisk vary (the remember-me cookie includes a unique suffix). We do not currently set any other first-party or third-party cookies on the public Site.
4. Similar technologies we do not currently use
We do not currently use:
- third-party analytics or advertising cookies;
- tracking pixels, web beacons, or social-media tracking tags;
- local storage or session storage to identify or track you.
If we add any of these, we will treat them as non-essential unless they are strictly required for the Site to work, update this policy, and request opt-in consent where required.
5. Managing your choices
You can manage non-essential cookies at any time:
- Use the “Accept all” or “Reject non-essential” options in the cookie banner shown on your first visit;
- Reopen your preferences anytime with the “Cookie Preferences” link in the Site footer;
- Control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may cause parts of the Site to stop working (for example, the contact form’s security check, or remaining signed in as an administrator);
- Enable a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal in a supported browser; we honor it as an opt-out of non-essential cookies and of the sale or sharing of personal information, and we will not show the banner if GPC is on — we record a rejection instead.
6. Your consent
Strictly necessary cookies do not require consent. Any non-essential cookies we may add in the future will be set only with your prior opt-in consent, and you may withdraw that consent at any time using the “Cookie Preferences” link. Because we currently use only strictly necessary cookies, choosing “Reject non-essential” does not change how the Site functions today, but your choice will be stored and respected if non-essential cookies are introduced later. Choosing “Accept all” records your opt-in for that future case.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. If we change our consent practices in a way that requires us to ask again, we will bump the stored consent version so the banner reappears.
